Welcome at SpYC Berlin!

As a base of the "Kreuzer-Abteilung" we also offer berths for guests in our marina. It is usually not necessary to register beforehand, but your yacht should not be longer than approximately 13 m. The depth in the harbour varies from 2 to 4 m.

Regatta dinghies and yachts up to 2 tons

(Nord. Folkeboot, H-Boot) can be lifted to the water at any time with our crane. There is plenty of space for parking trailers in the northwest part of our premises. Unfortunately caravans and mobile homes can not be used on our premises.

Approach by yacht

You can reach the SpYC via the lower part of the Havel (Unterhavel). Coming from the north (Havel-Oder-Wasserstraße) the lock in Spandau (Schleuse Spandau) is closed for an indefinite period of time. Therefore, go around via the Westhafen, Schleuse Plötzensee, Schleuse Charlottenburg und Spree necessary before you reach the Unterhavel. Follow the channel as far as Pichelsdorfer Gmünd then turn right into the Scharfe Lanke (keep at least 200 m distance to the shore on starboard as the water is shallow).

From the east you can reach us via the Spree (through Berlin city as far as Spandau) and the Havel (then as explained above).

Arriving from west or south (Havel, Teltowkanal) the way leads from Potsdam upstream through our sailing area. The fairway is clearly marked by buoys. Passing the Pfaueninsel and the Großer Wannsee you leave the Grunewaldturm on your right and eventually arrive at the Schildhorn. Here you exit the fairway to port and sail north direct into the Scharfe Lanke (see chart).

The SpYC lies on the NW shore. When you can see our clubhouse with the club pennant you have arrived.
